How does leadership change alongside AI?

Lilla Berky · Insights

Introducing a new tool also raises leadership questions: what are we trying to achieve, how will we learn and how will we discuss uncertainty?

Start with the current situation

Before choosing a tool, name the situation you want to improve. Perhaps recurring summaries take too long, or information is hard to navigate. A specific goal makes it easier to design an experiment than a general expectation that everyone should use AI.

Clarify the boundaries

Agree which tasks you will explore, who checks the results and when to ask for help. Follow your organisation’s policies for data and tool use. Shared boundaries can reduce guesswork and make it easier to discuss experience openly.

Create a rhythm for learning

In a short, regular review, ask what helped, what did not work and what to change next. Part of leadership is turning these experiences into shared decisions. You do not need every answer in advance to provide direction.

Let’s talk about the possibilities.
